Position Overview:
This role is primarily accountable for procuring non-production materials, supplies, and services essential for the facility's operations.

This position plays a vital role in establishing and maintaining optimal inventory levels through the eAM system, managing economic order quantities, monitoring expenditures, securing competitive pricing, and identifying areas for enhancement while implementing innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee contracted services, including HVAC, compressed air systems, forklifts, and landscaping, which entails soliciting bids, negotiating annual contracts, and coordinating repair and preventive maintenance activities.
- Manage all permitting related to various maintenance and engineering tasks.

Additional Information:
- Standard work hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
- This position may qualify for performance-based bonuses in accordance with the Company's policies.

Responsibilities Include:
- Secure competitive pricing for all non-production items and contracted services for the facility.
- Prepare materials ahead of preventive maintenance or work orders.
- Verify the accuracy of incoming orders and ensure all necessary documentation is complete before approving invoices for payment.

- Maintain records of permits issued, safety inspections, and ensure timely scheduling of required inspections on a monthly and annual basis.
- Ensure accurate inventory levels are maintained, including establishing correct minimum and maximum levels to prevent disruptions in production or maintenance activities.

- Contribute to the creation of preventive maintenance activities utilizing Failure Mode Effects Analysis, manufacturer manuals, and past experiences.
- Participate in daily maintenance planning meetings to set priorities and deadlines for the department.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for a work visa now or in the future.
- Must possess a strong understanding of environmental regulations and experience with Computer Maintenance Management Systems.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading a maintenance team.
- At least one (1) year of previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or distribution setting.
- Possession of an industrial, electrical, or welding certification, and/or a post-secondary/technical degree.
