Job Overview:

Summit Fire & Security, a leading provider of fire detection, suppression, and security services, is seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Specialist to join its team. This role involves inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire protection systems to ensure compliance with NFPA codes.

About the Role:

  • Inspect and test fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps, and backflows in accordance with NFPA codes.
  • Record and report deficiencies of fire protection systems to SFS and customers.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including offsite monitoring companies.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' experience inspecting fire protection systems required; NICET and/or state certification required based on location.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field (e.g., fire safety, engineering).
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
