Electro Mechanic

The Electro Mechanic plays a crucial role in supporting and maintaining Barry Callebaut's equipment to produce high-quality products. Under the supervision of the Supervisor, this team member is responsible for ensuring the safe and proper operation, maintenance, and repair of plant equipment.

• Maintenance and Preventative Maintenance of Barry Callebaut operations
• Support production by ensuring the safe and proper operation, maintenance, and repair of plant equipment
• Analyze, troubleshoot, install, and repair electrical and mechanical systems on industrial manufacturing equipment
• Repair electronic components and controls used in manufacturing
• Locate and diagnose complex equipment failures, including mechanical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems
• Coordinate and complete projects, on occasion with outside vendors
• Generate, complete, and close work orders using a computerized maintenance management system
• Perform established PM and PdM activities and identify new opportunities for improvement
• Follow all GMP, HACCP, and Safety regulations and guidelines
• Perform all other related duties as requested
• Help in the training of new employees, both production and maintenance, when required
• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work environment
• Participate in the safety-related training programs
• Ensure the proper documentation of repairs, listing parts, record keeping, and following the work flow process

We are looking for an Associate's degree or equivalent in electromechanical technology or a similar degree, along with 2-3 years of electromechanical experience. The ideal candidate will have proficiency with electrical systems and troubleshooting, as well as the ability to read and understand complex technical documentation.

The successful candidate will also have the ability to work independently, follow through and complete tasks, and handle a multi-task workload. Additionally, they must be able to work as part of a team with little to no supervision.
