Job Summary

As the Spa Director at Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and supervision of all spa operations, including programs, services, hours of operation, facilities, and staff. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the delivery of spa services, including salon, skin care, fitness, and wellness programs.
  • Direct and work with the management team and hourly employees to successfully execute all spa operations.

  • Monitor and manage the payroll function, controllable expenses, and budget.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of spa facilities and equipment.
  • Develop and manage spa promotions, including gifting programs, gift with purchase, co-op marketing efforts, and holiday events.
  • Identify and recommend new products and product enhancements to remain competitive in the market.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major, with 4 years of experience in the spa, guest services, front desk, sales, and marketing, or a related professional area.
  • Or a 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major, with 2 years of experience in the spa, guest services, front desk, sales, and marketing, or a related professional area.
