Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and adhere to established standards and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure patient needs are met.
  • Supervise and train caregivers to ensure they are providing high-quality care.
  • Manage client paperwork, maintain client files, and enter client information into the client management system.
  • Develop and implement caregiver-training programs for state-required annual training.
  • Evaluate and monitor caregivers' performance with medication services and nursing tasks.
  • Help maintain positive employee relations and resolve problems with direct-care staff.
  • Assess potential clients and determine appropriateness for our services.
  • Evaluate and monitor clients' progress and changes in condition.
  • Conduct client and caregiver supervisory visits within the time frame established by company policy.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current license to practice nursing in the State of Maryland.
  • Prefer at least two years of experience providing direct care.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and dependable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance coverage.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills with clients, caregivers, family members, and interested parties.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Demonstrate excellent critical thinking skills, organized, self-directed, goal-driven, self-starter, detail-orientated, problem solver, and conflict management.
  • Passionate about working with seniors and ensuring they receive the highest quality care.
  • Maintain professional integrity throughout the performance of all job duties, demonstrates the exemplary work ethic.
  • Able to adhere to the practice of confidentiality regarding patients, families, staff, and the organization.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and/or weekends as needed, requested, or assigned.
Qualifications
  • Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field.
  • 1-3 years of experience.
  • Specialty certification preferred.
