Job Overview:

Perpetual Labor Sourcing is seeking skilled Underground Electricians to work at a coal mining site in Jasper, Alabama. Candidates must be able to work in challenging environments and perform various physical tasks while ensuring the safe operation of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in an underground mining environment.
- Lift 50 lbs frequently and 75 lbs occasionally.
- Work in extreme conditions, including confined spaces, varying light conditions, and exposure to high noise levels.
- Operate heavy equipment, sit for 4+ hours, and stand for 4+ hours per day.
- Perform stooping, bending, climbing stairs, and ladders as required.
- Ensure the use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE), including footwear, hearing, and eye protection.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of underground electrician experience preferred.
- High voltage experience preferred; low voltage experience required.
- Ability to stand on uneven, rocky surfaces for extended periods.
- Must comply with all site safety protocols and regulations.
