Obstetrical Services Attendant Role
At Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health, we are seeking a skilled Obstetrical Services Attendant to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing surgical suites for procedures, ensuring patients are prepared for surgery, and providing support with patient positioning and care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares surgical suites for procedures, including room equipment, supplies, and furniture.
- Ensures patients are prepared for surgery prior to transport from inpatient and ER units.
- Provides support with positioning of patients in supine, lateral, or other positions.
- Assists with the care of laboring patients.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year of previous hospital perioperative experience preferred.
- Previous experience in Labor and Delivery preferred.
- BLS certification required.
