Job Title: Life Skills Educator/Outreach Specialist

About the Role:

We're looking for a skilled educator and outreach specialist to lead large group workshops for our program participants, preparing them for success in temporary and permanent employment. As a Life Skills Educator/Outreach Specialist, you'll work closely with our Denver Site Director to ensure the smooth operation of our site, providing administrative and operational support as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver engaging life skills education programs to prepare participants for employment
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to gather information and promote special projects
  • Provide administrative support, including inputting participant data into our case management system (Salesforce)
  • Develop and deepen relationships with probation officers and community-based organizations to promote our work and build referrals
  • Meet with probation officers to facilitate program referrals and share feedback on client progress
Requirements:
  • Experience in teaching or leading group presentations, preferably in a reentry or employment setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate participants
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
  • Ability to learn and convey program content quickly and accurately, with a passion for helping individuals achieve their goals
