Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Imaging Procedures: Perform computed tomography (CT) scans and X-ray procedures with precision and accuracy, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Patient Care: Provide compassionate and respectful care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, including CT scanners and X-ray machines, to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Quality Control: Participate in quality control activities, including image quality checks and equipment calibration, to maintain high standards of imaging excellence.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Current BLS certification and ARRT (R) registration, with a valid ND license.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in CT and X-ray imaging, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, procedures, and protocols.
Work Schedule
  • Shifts: Monday to Friday, with a choice of 4x10-hour shifts or 5x8-hour shifts.
  • Call Expectations: Weekend call expectation to be in-house from 8 AM - 12 PM on Saturdays, with on-call rotation for 1-2 nights per week from 5:30 PM - 6:30 AM.
Department Information
  • Equipment: The Radiology Department consists of a variety of equipment, including a portable X-ray, C-arm, general X-ray room (DR), fluoroscopy room, CT scanner, and Dexa scanner.
  • Scopes of Work: Scopes of work include CT and X-ray for the ER, surgery procedures using C-arm, and routine imaging studies like CXR, abdomen, pelvis, ortho, and barium swallow evals.
