Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead to join our team at Hyundai Glovis. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising daily activities, ensuring a safe working environment, and evaluating worker performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Operations Supervisor in managing equipment operators and team members.
  • Monitor warehouse operations, procedures, and inventory to ensure adequate supply of materials, packaging, shipments, etc.
  • Evaluate the performance of workers and ensure they meet targets and safety standards.
  • Participate in safety initiatives and conduct team safety training for equipment operators and team members.
  • Perform various tasks such as picking parts, placing parts in work areas or storage locations, and following company rules and Standard Operator Procedures.
  • Operate Powered Industrial Vehicles in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Resolve conflicts between team members and act as a liaison between management and team members.
  • Read customer orders, shipping orders, or documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, and/or shipped.
  • Scan materials and move them according to standard work instructions.
  • Monitor and replenish materials lineside and at various stations in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Accurately record receiving and shipping material movements and inventory in SAP.
  • Ensure team members are adequately trained, follow required SOPs, WIs, and Safety requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in distribution or warehouse operations, preferably in an automotive environment.
  • Minimum of one year of sit-down forklift experience.
  • Ability to perform basic to moderately difficult mathematical functions.
  • Ability to successfully complete in-house forklift certification class and test.
  • Previous experience using scanners and WMS preferred.
  • Ability to maintain certification and participate in recertification based on company Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and collaborate with others.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly focused with excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
Physical Demands
  • Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
  • Ability to safely use and operate Powered Industrial Vehicles in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Ability to bend, turn, and use peripherals as required to operate equipment safely.
  • Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to work in a warehouse environment for up to 8-hour shifts, and any overtime hours if applicable.

The estimated base hourly rate for the Equipment Operator is $25.00 an hour.
