- End: 15:30:00
Certificates accepted from the National Council for Therapeutic Certification (NCTRC) or the California Board of Recreation and Park Certification (CBRPC)
Responsibilities:- Assess patient needs and develop a therapeutic program tailored to their requirements
- Consider medical records and conduct personal observations and talks with patients and their loved ones
- Keep current on communal and therapeutic resources to provide the best possible care
- Document patient progress during activities and perform other duties assigned by the supervisor
- Minimum of 1 year of experience within the last 36 months as a Recreational Therapist
- Ability to build rapport with patients and possess a compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology and a valid current CPR card (American Heart Association)
