Job Summary

Aquatech International is seeking a highly skilled Senior Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team in Canonsburg, PA. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of technical commodities, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Finalize orders with subcontractors and manage the subcontractors until project completion, including negotiating terms and conditions, field service rates, spare parts, shipping terms, and deliverables schedule.
  • Purchase all commodities and technical equipment, such as pumps, valves, controls, vessels, and piping, in a timely manner.
  • Review purchase requisition packages and prepare bid requests.
  • Review bid proposals and negotiate contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority.
  • Confer with vendors to obtain product or service information, such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
  • Prepare purchase orders and receive and contact vendors to find out the status of an order.
  • Interface with all departments and resolve problems on purchased items.
  • Data entry of all purchase orders and compile records and reports.
  • Operate a computer terminal to input and retrieve data.
  • Travel when needed to meet project requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering.
  • Seven or more years of experience in purchasing (procurement) of technical commodities.
  • Three or more years of experience with international purchasing.
  • Three or more years of experience with SAP, preferred.
