Key Responsibilities- Ensure the safety of pets, clients, and associates by maintaining a clean and organized treatment area.
- Obtain relevant information from clients and maintain accurate medical records.
- Provide education on preventative care, pet health needs, and treatment options.
- Effectively communicate diagnosis and treatment plans to the veterinary medical team and clients.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, including controlled substance inventory management.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree.
- License in good standing with the applicable state veterinary board.
- Proven ability to perform basic surgeries and use standard medical instruments and equipment.
