Medical Coding Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Medical Coder to join our team at Bayview Physicians Group. As a Medical Coder, you will be responsible for reviewing charge tickets, progress notes, and op notes to apply appropriate CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and code medical records for accuracy and completeness
- Participate in month-end closing processes and maintain required annual CEU's
- Special projects as assigned
- CPC or CPC-A certification required
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Self-starter with a positive attitude and helpful demeanor
- Remote work opportunity available after 1 year of successful employment
- Reimbursement of AAPC annual dues
- Access to Codify and opportunities for continued training
