Speech-Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at The Healthcare Resort of Leawood. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping patients overcome communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing disorders.
  • Evaluate treatment outcomes and modify services as needed.
  • Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers.
  • Document all regulatory and clinically required information in our electronic documentation system.
