Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bus Aide to support students with special needs at Helena Elementary. As a key member of our transportation team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist students with disabilities in boarding and exiting the bus
  • Provide emotional support and reassurance to students with special needs
  • Collaborate with bus drivers and school staff to ensure a smooth and safe transportation experience
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience working with students with special needs preferred
  • Ability to lift and assist students as needed
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
