R&A Engineering Solutions, Inc. is looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with over a decade of expertise in a Consulting Engineering or Design/Build setting. This role involves collaborating with a team of professionals to develop HVAC and plumbing systems for various building projects.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Designing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and plumbing systems.
- Interacting with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
- Conducting building energy modeling and ensuring compliance with California Building Codes.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
- Either an EIT or PE certification.
- Proficiency in MEP design and strong technical writing skills.
- Experience with Revit and AutoCAD software.
Preferred Skills:
Additional skills that would be advantageous include:
- Experience in healthcare facility design.
- Knowledge of hydronics and plumbing systems.
- Familiarity with energy efficiency practices and BMS controls.
- Experience in providing construction support.
