  • Assist local partners in advancing peace and democracy in politically transitioning nations.
  • Utilize adaptive programming to seize opportunities for stability and democratic progress.
  • Support initiatives that address the unique needs of countries undergoing significant political changes.
  • Facilitate the reintegration of ex-combatants and promote national reconciliation.
  • Identify and implement community-driven projects that address urgent economic challenges.
  • Provide assistance to independent media and civil society organizations to enhance public engagement.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in international relations, conflict resolution, or a related field, with a proven track record in managing transition initiatives.

Eligibility:

This position is open to United States Citizens, and a Secret security clearance is required.

Performance Period:

The role is structured for a one-year term, with the possibility of four additional one-year extensions.
