We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at an elementary school in South Plainfield, NJ. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with speech and language disorders. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and implement individualized treatment plans that support student success in communication and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs
- Provide speech therapy services to improve communication and language skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and document student progress in accordance with school and district policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student progress and goals
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid New Jersey SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children is a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
