- Troubleshoot problems with a mold and arrive with an action plan to correct the problem in a reasonable amount of time
- Schedule and manage work in other departments as required
- Operate all necessary equipment in a safe manner with little or no supervision
- Wear safety equipment that is relevant to the position, job being performed, or equipment being used
- Minimum 2 years technical or trade school with an emphasis on tool making or equivalent experience
- Valid identification and the ability to work legally in the United States
- 4+ years of previous mold polishing experience in mold making tool shop environment
- Technical mathematical skills
- Ability to multitask
- Work on several projects at the same time without losing the ability to complete them on time and within customer specifications
- Communicate with other departments and customers in a professional and respectful manner
- Basic computer skills
- Lifting 40lbs
- Standing for long durations of time
- Use hands and fingers to operate hand tools
