Job SummaryThis is a full-time virtual special education teacher position that requires a minimum of 1+ years of experience in special education. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing personalized educational plans tailored to the unique needs of students in the K-12 spectrum.
Responsibilities- Personalized Education Plans: Develop and implement customized educational strategies to support students' growth and academic success across different grade levels.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with fellow educators, parents, and guardians to create and execute individualized education plans (IEPs), maintaining transparent and constructive communication throughout.
- Ongoing Assessment and Improvement: Regularly assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed to promote academic development and foster a supportive learning environment.
- Possession of a valid Washington State License as a Special Education Teacher is essential.
- A Master's degree in Special Education or a related field is required.
- Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher, with expertise in catering to students in elementary, middle, and high school settings.
