Job Title: RN Emergency PRN Days

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team on a PRN basis. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Job Summary:

The RN Emergency PRN Days candidate will possess the following education, license/certifications, and experience:

  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
  • Certification Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association.
  • Certification Preferred: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or others as required by individual department.
Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
  • Implementing and monitoring patient care plans.
  • Monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition as appropriate.
  • Serving as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  • Assessing and coordinating patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association certification.
