Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laundry Worker to join our team at Healthcare Services Group, Inc. As a Laundry Worker, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, sort, and load soiled linen into the washer(s) and load clean linens into the dryer(s)
  • Fold clean linens and count and record the linen processed each day
  • Make proper deliveries to units and clean and sanitize the work area, including machines, work tables, and sorting area
  • Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions and follow safety precautions when mixing and using cleaning solutions
  • Ensure established standards, safety, and quality guidelines are met and follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Perform routine, repetitive tasks daily and utilize leadership skills to accomplish responsibilities without supervision
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
  • Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and work around food and cleaning products
  • Must live in the service area
