Tax Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Supervisor to join our team at a leading CPA firm in Wakefield, MA. As a Tax Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing tax engagements, planning and scheduling tax projects, and building strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed reviews of tax returns and work papers
  • Perform tax research projects and communicate with clients and team members
  • Provide training, direction, and supervision to team members
  • Maintain technical expertise in various tax areas related to industry specialization

Requirements:

  • BSBA in accounting or advanced degree
  • CPA credentials or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of public accounting experience
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Word and Excel, and ProSystem fx Tax
