Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 12-week contract assignment in Home Health. This role requires a skilled and compassionate individual to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with a strong background in home health care. As an LPN with Interim HealthCare Staffing, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, providing tailored care that meets their unique needs.

Responsibilities
  • Implement physician orders and monitor patient response to care.
  • Recognize and respond to emergency situations, utilizing critical thinking skills to ensure effective patient outcomes.
  • Administer medications accurately, adhering to established principles and protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring seamless care coordination.
  • Provide direct care to patients, maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active LPN license in South Carolina.
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in home health care.
  • CPR certification and immunization records.
  • Current physical within the last year or statement of good health.
  • Demonstrated clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills, and excellent communication abilities.
