Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Dosimetrist to join our team at Methodist North Hospital. As a Medical Dosimetrist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and safe delivery of radiation therapy to patients.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients undergoing radiation therapy
  • Collaborate with radiation oncologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and safe treatment delivery
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on radiation therapy equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest advancements in medical dosimetry
  • Meet the minimum education, training, and experience requirements for the position, including a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience in clinical medical dosimetry
Requirements
  • Medical dosimetry certification (CMD)
  • 3 years of experience in clinical medical dosimetry
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Work Schedule

8A-430P, Monday-Friday
