Clinical Nurse Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Instructor to join our team at Winder CNA Training. As a Clinical Nurse Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering instruction to students in our CNA and Medical Assistant programs. Key Responsibilities:- Teach the course curriculum as outlined in the American Red Cross Blended Learning Program Skills Manual, using the companion instructor's guide.
- Build knowledge and develop clinical skills aimed at helping students obtain the CNA license.
- Maintain accurate records on all students, including attendance records, schedules, and course requirements regarding hours of instruction and content.
- Evaluate and document students' progress through testing, observation, and assessment of skills attained.
- Communicate effectively with students and all affiliated parties, including staff at clinical training facilities, school staff, and prospective employers.
- Provide a stimulating environment that encourages student participation, interpersonal skills development, and concepts of good patient care.
- Maintain a monthly timesheet and submit it by required deadlines.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the Program Owner.
- Must hold an active Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse license and not be subject to any current disciplinary action.
- Must have at least two years of nursing experience, with at least one year in Long Term Care.
- Upon hire, the applicant must complete the Alliant Health Train the Trainer Session.
- Ability to perform physical work with patients and students in a clinical setting.
- Ability to lift at least 20 lbs.
- Flexibility to work days, and eventually nights and evenings on occasion.
- Negotiable per hour rate of pay.
- W-2 Employee.
