Job Summary:The Clinical Nurse Instructor will teach the course curriculum as outlined in the American Red Cross Blended Learning Program Skills Manual, using the companion instructor's guide. You will build knowledge and develop clinical skills aimed at helping students obtain the CNA license. Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate records on all students, evaluating and documenting students' progress, and communicating effectively with students and affiliated parties.
Responsibilities:- Teach the course curriculum as outlined in the American Red Cross Blended Learning Program Skills Manual, using the companion instructor's guide.
- Build knowledge and develop clinical skills aimed at helping students obtain the CNA license.
- Maintain accurate records on all students, including attendance records, schedules, and course requirements regarding hours of instruction and content.
- Evaluate and document students' progress through testing, observation, and assessment of skills attained.
- Communicate effectively with students and all affiliated parties, including staff at clinical training facilities, school staff, and prospective employers.
- Provide a stimulating environment that encourages student participation, interpersonal skills development, and concepts of good patient care.
- Maintain a monthly timesheet and submit it by required deadlines.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the Program Owner.
- Must hold an active Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse license and not be subject to any current disciplinary action.
- Must have at least two years of nursing experience, with at least one year in Long Term Care.
- Upon hire, the applicant must complete the Alliant Health Train the Trainer Session.
- Ability to perform physical work with patients and students in a clinical setting.
- Ability to lift at least 20 lbs.
- Flexibility to work days, and eventually nights and evenings on occasion.
- Negotiable per hour rate of pay.
- W-2 Employee.
