Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Caregiver Scheduling Professional to join our team at Always Best Care Senior Service. As a key member of our scheduling team, you will be responsible for developing and monitoring work schedules for caregivers to meet patient care needs.
About the Role: In this role, you will adjust staffing according to available staff and report changes to appropriate supervisors. You will also assure accuracy of time reports, verify hours worked daily, bonus hours, overtime hours, and benefit days. Additionally, you will calculate staffing based on adjusted census daily and go out in the field to cover shifts as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and continually monitor work schedules for caregivers to meet patient care needs
- Adjust staffing according to available staff and report changes to appropriate supervisors
- Assure accuracy of time reports, verify hours worked daily, bonus hours, overtime hours, and benefit days
- Calculate staffing based on adjusted census daily
- Go out in the field to cover shifts as needed
- Perform office open/close procedures daily
- Assist with training and support for other Staffing Coordinators or personnel performing scheduling functions
- Assist with administrative functions inclusive of generating reports for QAC and DOO on PCA schedules for purposes of addressing tardiness, no-call/no-show, missed shifts, cancelations, and other issues that negatively affect the business of the organization
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; some college preferred
- 1-3 years experience in a fast-paced office environment required; experience performing these duties for a non-medical senior care organization preferred
- Must exhibit a high degree of time management, multi-tasking, interpersonal, and effective communication skills
- Must exhibit a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality
- Intermediate or advanced level experience and capability with Microsoft Office products required
- Intermediate or advanced level experience with regard to scheduling software required; experience with Soneto or Clear Care preferred
Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
