Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time, Board Eligible/Board Certified Hematologist/Oncologist to become a vital part of our organization in Northern California.

Role Details:
This position is based at a tertiary care center that encompasses all major subspecialties. We are particularly interested in candidates with a robust background in medical oncology, specifically in the areas of gynecological and breast cancer.

Commitment to Patient Care:

The practice utilizes a hybrid schedule that accommodates virtual care, with nurse case managers available to support physicians. Additionally, malignant hematology is managed by a dedicated service within our department.

Clinical Excellence:
Our East Bay location is home to a Center of Excellence for Leukemia and Lymphoma, with call responsibilities for this service set at 1 in 5 weeks. Our oncology team collaborates closely with the Internal Medicine residency program, providing teaching opportunities for residents during their service.

Research and Development:
We encourage participation in national clinical trials (SWOG, ECOG, NRG, NCI), the development of regional care pathways, and involvement in projects aimed at enhancing our program's reputation through Commission on Cancer accreditation. Opportunities for clinical research and practice enhancement are readily available.

- Board Certification or Eligibility
- Eligibility for a California medical license or current licensure in California
