Key Responsibilities- Oversee the daily operations of the Perioperative and Procedural Care Unit, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient unit management.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, reduce complications, and enhance the overall patient experience.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Lead and develop nursing staff, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure professional growth and development.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance patient care.
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and fiscal responsibility.
- Current registration in nursing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- MSN, DNP, PhD, or a BSN with a master's degree in a related field, required.
- Minimum 3 years nursing leadership experience, with experience in an academic medical center perioperative and/or intensive care preferred.
- Certification in specialty (preferred).
