About the Role

LHC Group is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality care to adult to geriatric patients in Marrero, Louisiana.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for patients.
  • Deliver direct treatment to individuals and groups, including supervision of treatment delivered by certified occupational therapy assistants (COTAs) or technicians.
  • Develop and implement home exercise programs, educate patients and families on adaptive equipment, and participate in team and family conferences.
  • Evaluate and select adaptive equipment, participate in performance improvement (PI) programs, and document services according to hospital and department standards.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy and successful completion of the National Registry exam.
  • Current license in Occupational Therapy in the state of practice.
  • CPR certification.
  • Membership or certification in a national association (as applicable).
