Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to provide tailored instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) that cater to students' unique needs and abilities.
  • Provide differentiated instruction that accommodates students' learning styles and abilities, ensuring their academic and social development.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to create an inclusive learning environment that promotes student growth and success.
  • Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional strategies to meet their evolving needs, ensuring continuous improvement and achievement of IEP goals.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress, behavior, and IEP goals, providing valuable insights for future instruction and support.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Valid Special Education teaching certification in the relevant state.
  • Experience working with students with diverse needs in a school setting, demonstrating a commitment to inclusive education and student success.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and teams.
