Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Intern to join our System Integration and Test team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and maintenance of hardware and software in our test lab, and support the research, development, testing, and sustainment of engineering activities related to our satellite operations.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in troubleshooting and repair of RF/Electronic hardware
- Use laboratory test equipment (network analyzers, state machine driven traffic simulators, protocol analyzers, etc.)
- Support the development of tools to automate the recording of test configurations of the lab components
- Assist in documenting, recreating, and isolating reported software and/or hardware defects found during test and in support of constellation operations
- Collaborate with your team to identify test, programmatic, and services implementation risks and support the mitigation of risks and issues identified
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience & Education Requirements / EEO:
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's or graduate degree program at an accredited academic institution (Engineering, Computer Science or related degree)
- US Citizenship Required
- Must be eligible to work in person
