Job Overview

KBE Building Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our team. As a Senior Estimator, you will play a critical role in providing conceptual and preliminary estimating services for assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review project documents, specifications, and drawings to prepare accurate estimates and bond request forms.
  • Coordinate and participate in pre-bid meetings, bid strategy meetings, and presentations to determine scope of work and required contents of estimates.
  • Prepare and execute complex proposals in accordance with guidelines, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage bid compilation and support operations by preparing estimates and prices for extra work items, change orders, and credit.
  • Participate in presentations and become proficient in using new technology, systems, and software acquired by the company.
Requirements
  • BS/BA in Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or Engineering, with 10+ years of construction estimating experience and some field experience.
  • Proven skills in spatial concepts, math, writing, and computer programs such as Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Proficiency with estimating software will be achieved through in-house training.
