KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establishing a robust predictive maintenance strategy – crafting and executing a uniform monitoring system that encompasses vibration analysis, infrared assessments, non-destructive testing, and various predictive maintenance methodologies across the facility.
  • Collaborating with maintenance planners to optimize planning and scheduling – participating in planning discussions and supplying vibration and lubrication analysis reports to facilitate shutdown planning.
  • Delivering reliability-focused solutions aimed at enhancing overall equipment performance.
  • Identifying and mitigating asset reliability risks that may negatively impact operational efficiency.
  • Leading initiatives in inspections, adjustments, replacements, and repairs for designated machinery.
  • Conducting vibration, infrared, and other predictive evaluations and interpreting the findings.
  • Partnering with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to analyze assets, focusing on:
  • Asset utilization
  • Equipment performance and future capabilities
  • Additional metrics that define operational conditions, reliability, and asset costs
  • Providing technical assistance to production maintenance and technical teams.
  • Assessing the effectiveness of corrective measures that influence availability and/or reliability, and sharing successful strategies across facilities when applicable.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in maintenance and reliability within a heavy industrial environment.
  • Preferred certifications in vibration analysis (Level 2 or higher) and other predictive maintenance fields such as ultrasound and infrared. Strong analytical capabilities in data analysis, scheduling, and planning.
  • Ability to make informed, swift decisions based on prior experiences and limited data.
  • Results-driven, accountable, skilled in negotiation, problem-solving, project management, and team collaboration.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a high degree of autonomy, teamwork, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in analyzing and conveying detailed information, with a proven track record of effective teamwork.
  • Fluency in English is required; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
  • Capability to engage in cross-functional and global teams within a matrix organization.
  • Strong writing skills for drafting procedures and proficient computer skills are essential.
