Position Summary: As a CEI Project Administrator at WSB, you will be an integral part of our Construction Management division, working closely with a Senior Project Engineer. Your responsibilities will include providing on-site technical oversight for transportation construction initiatives, ensuring that quality, safety, and efficiency are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the management of complex road and bridge construction projects, coordinating tasks among administrative and field personnel while supporting all phases of the construction process.
  • Utilize initiative and independent judgment to address challenges, following general guidelines for assignments.
  • Monitor project timelines and manage final estimates during the construction period.
  • Provide leadership and direction to CEI Inspection teams, promoting a culture of excellence and ongoing improvement.
  • Oversee inspections and testing processes, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and project specifications.

Qualifications: Required qualifications and certifications for this role can be achieved within six (6) months of employment, provided you work under the guidance of a Senior Project Engineer, fulfill all other position requirements, and submit a training plan outlining when the necessary qualifications/certifications will be obtained.

  • FDOT Advanced MOT certification.
  • CTQP Final Estimates Level I & II.
  • CTQP Quality Control Manager certification (Attend and pass the examination).

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • For candidates with degrees in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management: Two (2) years of engineering experience in relevant transportation projects. A Master's Degree in these fields may substitute for one (1) year of engineering experience.
  • For candidates without degrees in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management: Eight (8) years of CEI or roadway or bridge construction experience, with at least two (2) of those years focused on relevant transportation projects.
