About the Role

This is a dynamic opportunity to join our team as a Registered Nurse in our cardiology outpatient clinic. You'll be responsible for assessing and educating patients on their cardiac health, working closely with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure seamless communication and the highest standards of patient care.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct telephone triage to assess patient needs, prioritize calls based on urgency, and respond promptly to emergent, urgent, and non-urgent inquiries.
  • Develop and deliver individualized patient education programs focused on diagnosis, procedures, and treatment plans to enhance patient understanding and care.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure seamless communication and the highest standards of patient care.
  • Serve as a cardiac health resource and educator for office staff and the broader community, promoting awareness and understanding.
  • Monitor and manage abnormal test results, facilitating appropriate referrals and follow-ups while maintaining meticulous documentation of all patient interactions and care provided.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited nursing program.
  • An active Washington Registered Nurse License at the time of hire.
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association, obtained before starting.
  • Ideal experience: at least 1 year of nursing experience.

Our entry-level pay for this position is $43.00 for candidates fresh out of school, and the pay scale is $64.03 USD. Sign-on/relocation bonuses are limited to qualified external candidates.
