Job Summary

The Receiving Manager is responsible for the efficient and effective coordination of all incoming shipments and merchandise at Eckart, LLC. This position will manage the receiving department and its staff, ensuring that all items are received, stored, and distributed in an organized and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all receiving operations, including unloading and sorting of deliveries
  • Ensure that all incoming shipments are accurately and promptly processed
  • Supervise and train receiving staff
  • Monitor the accuracy of all receiving records, including inventory and stock levels
  • Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment
  • Identify and resolve receiving and inventory discrepancies
  • Monitor and control operational costs
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and accurate operations
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize process
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in receiving and inventory management
  • Must be able to communicate (both verbal and written) at all levels within the organization.
  • Must be self-motivated.
  • Must be familiar or certified in Forklift operations.
  • Knowledge of warehouse procedures and equipment
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds
