About the Role:

As a Direct Support Professional, you will work one-on-one with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals and increase their community involvement.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Encourage and support individuals to participate in community activities and events
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to meet the unique needs of each individual
  • Collaborate with other ETTA staff members to ensure seamless support and services
Requirements:
  • 21+ years of age
  • Ability to pass a background check (DOJ / FBI / DMV)
  • A valid driver's license (for a minimum of three years), clean driving record, and insured vehicle
  • Willingness to transport using personal vehicle (with mileage reimbursement)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Jewish traditions and culture helpful (not required)
