POSITION SUMMARY

  • Oversee the behavior of the designated student and ensure their safety at all times.
  • Implement a system for behavior modification and adhere to established school regulations.
  • Assist the student with academic tasks and behavioral objectives.
  • Accompany the student during classes and extracurricular activities.
  • Keep detailed records of the student's daily activities.
  • Work collaboratively under the guidance of the classroom instructor.
  • Provide support to staff and contribute to program initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accompany the assigned student throughout the school day.
  • Observe activities and record progress meticulously.
  • Maintain accurate documentation regarding the student's behavior and academic achievements.
  • Assist in reducing inappropriate behaviors through positive reinforcement.
  • Support both individual and group assignments within the classroom setting.
  • Establish and maintain clear boundaries with students.
  • Offer constructive feedback to educators and team members.
  • Collaborate effectively with school personnel.
  • Employ verbal de-escalation techniques as necessary.

COMPENSATION

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $17.00 to $18.00.
