Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to expectant mothers and their newborns, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in perinatal care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment that prioritizes patient-centered care and exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Current RN license in the state of employment or compact.
  • Current certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) or equivalent.
  • Current ACLS certification.
  • Current NRP certification.
  • 1 year of experience in perinatal nursing or a related specialty.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Perinatal RN Residency or equivalent.
  • Experience in a perinatal setting.
