Role Responsibilities:

The Operations Manager will be tasked with delivering technical guidance for the comprehensive planning, direction, and successful execution of all assigned projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the coordination and management of all scheduled and ongoing installation tasks.
  • Providing a visual dashboard for management to track project statuses and timelines.
  • Communicating and collaborating with Project Managers and Senior Field Technicians to convey the progress of all installation activities related to Technical Instructions (TIs) and addressing any issues or concerns with the Project Manager.
  • This position may require up to 10% travel.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in program or project management, specifically related to the installation of shipboard combat/weapons systems and interior communication systems involving structural and electrical components.
  • A solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • PMP Certification is essential.

Preferred:

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a business-related field.

Security Clearance:

Candidates must possess an active security clearance or have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance. Selected individuals will undergo a government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for a DoD security clearance. Background checks will include, but are not limited to, criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.
