Assisted Living Coordinator

At Sunrise Senior Living, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Assisted Living Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for facilitating and leading the Assisted Living Neighborhood team. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the highest level of care and services for our residents, while also promoting a positive and supportive work environment for your team members.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve resident care and services
- Recruit, hire, train, and coach a high-quality team of caregivers
- Provide recognition and create an engaged culture for team members, residents, and families
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as Sunrise Senior Living standards
- Partner with leadership to ensure community compliance with OSHA requirements
- Understand and manage the department budget, including labor and other expenses, and its impact on the community's bottom line
- Attend regular meetings, including Stand Up, Cross Over, Department Head Meetings, Town Hall, Quality Improvement, and others as directed by the Executive Director
Qualifications:
- Minimum one year supervisory/management experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, employee relations, and supervision of daily operations in assisted living or long-term care
- BA/BS degree may be required based on state requirements
- Demonstrated good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new applications
- Effective organization, time management, and written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to handle multiple priorities and delegate assignments
- Scheduling experience is a definite asset
- A dedication to seniors and their well-being is essential
