Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Solder Technician III to join our team at RTX. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and repairing electronic units with a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble a variety of electronic units with precision and accuracy
  • Identify and manage components, wires, and materials needed for assembly
  • Solder electronic components using industry-standard techniques and tools
  • Operate assembly machines and ensure proper functioning
  • Measure, mix, and apply chemicals and adhesives according to safety and operational guidelines
  • Read and interpret technical data, including component maintenance manuals, assembly instructions, and engineering prints
  • Effectively communicate work status to team members and support staff
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
Requirements
  • Typically requires a HS Diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience or In the absence of a HS Diploma or GED, 4 years of relevant experience
  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet customer needs
  • Physical demands include distinguishing colors, meeting vision requirements, bending, stooping, reaching, turning, and using hands for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification: Must be able to pass a solder certification course and meet Class III standards
  • Experience: Prior electronic assembly experience in the aerospace industry
