Skillwork is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a traveling maintenance technician, you will have the opportunity to work with various companies, travel the country, and develop new skillsets.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Perform medium to high-level machine systems troubleshooting and repair.
  • Provide technical support for all phases of the operation.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge of mechanical/electrical components, including shafts, bearings, gear boxes, pumps, motors, drives, and 3-phase power.
  • Ability to work various shifts, including overtime and weekends.
  • Proficient in repairing and troubleshooting conveyor systems, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints/schematics.
  • Fully computer literate.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Automation and controls troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
  • Educationally certified through a tech/trade school beyond high school.
