We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Donation Attendant to join our team at Freedom Village Store in Sykesville, Maryland.
Job Summary:The Donation Attendant will be responsible for receiving and processing donations in an efficient and courteous manner. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Accept and process donations from customers, providing exceptional customer service.
- Label and organize donations in the production room or sales floor.
- Ensure that donors receive a receipt for their donations.
- Identify and handle hazardous materials, providing customers with disposal options.
- Assist customers with loading and unloading donations.
- Maintain a clean and organized production room and sales floor.
- Operate pallet jack and walkie stacker safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily safety inspections on company equipment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to pass a forklift certification class.
- Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
