We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stockroom Coordinator to join our team at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for receiving and processing inventory, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely delivery of supplies to our departments.
Key Responsibilities- Receiving and Processing Inventory: Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verify quantities and accuracy, and notify supervisors of any discrepancies.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, track stock movements, and perform periodic physical inventory counts.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate with departments to ensure timely delivery of supplies, and manage inventory levels to meet demand.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, and prepare reports on inventory levels and supply chain activity.
- Mailroom and Administrative Support: Assist with mailroom functions, including sorting and routing mail, and provide administrative support as needed.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required, 1 year of inventory experience preferred.
- Skills and Abilities: Basic math skills, typing skills, and ability to lift 50-70 lbs.
- Software and Systems: Familiarity with inventory management software and systems, including Omnicell Supply Cabinet.
This is a full-time position working a day shift, 7am-4pm. The Stockroom Coordinator will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent lifting and bending required. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
