About the Role: We are seeking a talented Area Speech Language Pathology Assistant to join our clinical team at Spectrum Center Schools and Programs. As a key member of our staff, you will work closely with our Area Speech Language Pathologist to provide high-quality speech therapy services to students with diverse communication needs.

**Job Description:**
The successful candidate will have experience working with individuals with autism-related disabilities and emotional disturbances, as well as a strong background in special education services and compliance. You will be responsible for evaluating students' communication skills, developing individualized therapy plans, and delivering evidence-based speech and language therapy interventions under the direction of the Area SLP.

**Responsibilities Include:**
* Evaluating students within designated programs to determine speech therapy needs and appropriate levels of service.
* Providing direct assistance to the SLP during assessments, including documentation, preparing materials, and performing clinical duties.
* Conducting speech-language screenings using established protocols and documenting results accurately.
* Delivering evidence-based speech and language therapy interventions to students under the direction of the Area SLP, focusing on improving communication skills, language comprehension, and cognitive abilities.
* Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and case records, ensuring compliance with Spectrum policies and state regulations.

**Requirements:**
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or a closely related field.
* Current or ability to obtain state SLPA certification.
* Valid driver's license for travel between locations.
* Prior experience working with students with autism-related disabilities and emotional disturbances, as well as knowledge in special education services and compliance.
