As a Sanitation Operations Manager at our facility, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all sanitation protocols and controls comply with organizational policies and legal standards. Our workplace culture emphasizes Continuous Improvement, accountability, and collaboration.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Strategic Coordination - You will assess the sanitary conditions of the facility both visually and analytically, prioritizing corrective actions for internal and external audits. You will lead the master sanitation program, ensuring adherence to schedules and effective collaboration with various departments and contractors.
  • Commitment to Excellence - Maintain and update cleaning procedures while conducting mandatory training sessions across the plant.
  • Team Collaboration - Engage with different departments and plant leadership as an integral team member. Participate in plant meetings as a key stakeholder and representative for food safety. Ensure the plant remains in optimal sanitary condition and assist in regulatory audits.
  • Resource Management - Plan cleaning schedules and allocate resources effectively (labor, supplies, equipment, and time) while executing successful sanitation activities.
  • Attention to Detail - Conduct daily inspections of assigned tasks, ensuring compliance with good manufacturing practices, health checks, safety inspections, and food safety audits.
  • Budget Oversight - Manage the sanitation budget on a monthly basis.
  • Multitasking - Balance multiple projects while managing daily operations, ensuring achievement of departmental KPIs and Continuous Improvement initiatives. Troubleshoot persistent sanitation issues and identify opportunities for enhancement.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma/GED with prior sanitation and supervisory experience in a food manufacturing setting.
  • Knowledge of chemical safety and usage.
  • Proficiency in environmental pathogen monitoring and implementing corrective/preventive measures.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a manufacturing environment and foster positive employee relations.
  • Experience with internal and regulatory audits.
  • Pest control certification is a plus.
  • Understanding of general industrial safety standards.
